At Nomad Customs, we do full restorations on Airstreams where your Airstream is outfitted with new frame, axles and subfloor to ensure that your Airstream will last another 50 years! We also design and build to help make your Airstream Dreams come true!

POLISHING AND BUFFING

We start by giving your Airstream a full wash to remove all the old grime, waxes and residue from years of adventure. The old clear coat is then stripped off to remove that haziness and peeling. We then start buffing with a three step process to get your Airstream looking amazing with that mirror finish.

What we offer

1. Shell-Off Restoration

Overview

Complete teardown of interior components, including cabinets, electrical, plumbing, walls, and insulation.
Removal of fasteners connecting the shell to the frame.
Support and lift the trailer shell off the frame.
Creation of a new frame based on the original, with provisions for fresh, grey, and black water tank placements.
Installation of tanks and flipping the frame to install a new belly pan with aluminum.
Frame flip to install a new subfloor (marine grade plywood or coosa board).
Lowering the shell back onto the frame and fastening them together.
