Chef Jamie Kennedy & Victoria’s Trillium 1300 Restoration

A mint green bottom and white upper half, this Trillium 1300 trailer is definitely an eye catcher!

This restoration was a lot of fun and part of the design request from Victoria was that we build out the cabinetry without any hardware visible. This posed a little bit of a challenge since the original hinges on a trillium were mounted on the cabinet face. Nick, one of our carpenters, suggested we laminate some mounting structures behind the fiberglass opening of the cabinets to mount European style hinges and that worked out great!

We chamfered out the top part of the drawers and handle sides of the cabinet faces to make “handle pulls” directly on the drawer and door faces.

Victoria connected us with this awesome product for the trillium flooring called Marmoleum by Forbo and it looked great.

A solar panel, battery and led lights were installed in the camper for an off grid excursion.

We also installed dimmer switches for the 3 zones of lighting.. rear dinette, front bunk and the kitchen.
